Loving Yourself:Simple Self Care!

Love Is In The Air!

Loving Yourself-Simple Self Care Tips To Feel Your Best!

We are all busy...so busy. It is easy to forget to take care of ourselves. But when we neglect our own care and needs, we may soon find ourselves suffering from exhaustion and feeling mentally foggy.  We won't be of any use to anyone in that condition!

When we are focused solely on what we need to get done, or on caring for others, our own well being takes a beating. If you think you don't have time to take care of yourself, then you need to schedule your self care, just like any other appointment.

Self care is an ongoing process. When your body rebels with an illness-listen! Let this remind you that taking care of you is not a one time activity!

Here are a few self care activities that you can easily incorporate into your life. Try one or two of them this week...and feel the love!

**Be a goof! Schedule at least five minutes of "play time" several times a day. This might mean listening to some comedy, having a good laugh with a friend. You get to choose!

**Be selfish. Today, do one thing just because it makes you happy! Sleep in! Go for a walk. Watch cat videos. Read a magazine.

**Dance! Put on your favorite tunes and shake it!

**Eat healthy. When we feel stressed, we tend to reach for fattening, comfort foods. Instead, grab a healthy salad, or a nourishing vegetable soup. Your body, and soul, will thank you!

**Be still. Find a quiet spot. If the weather cooperates, go outside and sit in the grass. Close your eyes and just let go.

**Nap! A ten or twenty minute nap can leave you feeling refreshed and ready to take on the rest of your day!

**Turn off! Turn off your devices and unplug from social media, even if it's only for thirty minutes.

**Walk(or run!) Get up from your chair and move. Even a short, brisk walk can elevate your mood quickly, and it's good for your heart!

**Take a bath. End your day with self care. Talk a long, soothing bubble bath. Take your time and just...be...

**Laugh! Be in the moment with your friends, your kids or your partner. Tell jokes. Watch comedies. Giggle! It's good for the soul!

**Love! Give a hug! Get a hug!

Just a few simple changes in your daily routine can make a significant difference in your physical and mental wellbeing. In the month of love, give yourself the gift of self love, and you will have more to share!

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "I was having continuous pain in my lower back and hips, and was diagnosed with a herniated disc. It was painful to sit, stand, and especially sleep. Rolling over during the night would wake me up from a sound sleep. Driving was difficult. Since being treated with non-surgical spinal decompression, I’m virtually pain free all of the time. I’m sleeping soundly and standing all day to teach, pain free! The spinal decompression has been a miracle for my life. I’m feeling better and I believe all my organs are working better because my spine is not in trauma."

  • "I was having constant back and leg cramping. I was tired of living on pills. I was limited on my daily activities due to this. Since being treated on the Decompression my back and legs feel good. I get a good night sleep, and am no longer limited on my activities. I recommend this treatment for anyone living with back and leg pain. You are not going to meet any nicer people then here."
